Complete solutions for the restoration of the Velykodymer community

The main aim of the project is to work with the Velykodymer community to develop a new model of the school network and a strategy for the development of education in the community. In fact, the project is supposed to propose how a single educational space of the community will be formed in the future, what the educational network is supposed to look like, and provide advocacy for these changes.

Developed as part of the project, the model of the full restoration of access to education after de-occupation will be presented for use by other communities that have also been affected by the war.

  • The project is implemented with the support of the The International Renaissance Foundation
  • Implementation period: October 2023 – August 2024
“War and occupation are not only about destruction and material losses. This is a significant change in the fundamental indicators around which community life is built. Old approaches are mostly ineffective. Successful recovery, in particular in the education sector, directly depends on the community's ability to develop new solutions that will work and implement them effectively. That's what we're here to help with”, –

“In addition to expert and advocacy assistance, the project also provides financial assistance. Particularly, thanks to the support of the The International Renaissance Foundation”, we will help the community to equip spaces for teaching students in combined and remote formats. The institutions will be selected to focus on those that require additional support to ensure access to education”, –
